Get the Facts Out: Vote for "Ammunition Under Attack"
Nominated for a 2016 People's Telly Award is NSSF's popular, fact-based video entitled, "Ammunition Under Attack." But it needs your vote to win. Anti-hunting groups are working to ban the use of traditional ammunition with lead components. Your vote can help win the Telly and spread this message beyond the gun-owner community. Help us get the facts out. Watch the video, rate it and then share it with friends and family.

Where to Shoot

Doug Koenig: How to Shoot Around Barricades
Professional pistol shooter Doug Koenig demonstrates his technique for shooting while standing behind a barricade. Doug's technique can work well for NRA Action Pistol, USPSA or IDPA where target shooters are often required to shoot from behind cover or concealment.

Action Shotgun Grip & Stance with Lena and Kay Miculek
Professional target shooters and Babes with Bullets instructors Lena and Kay Miculek demonstrate the proper grip and stance for action shotgun shooting. Holding a shotgun properly while taking an aggressive stance will help dampen the recoil from a shotgun and ensure a good experience for new shooters. Firearm instructors and experienced shooters are encouraged to watch and share this tip with newcomers to the shooting sports.

NSSF Launches Spanish Language Videos for New Shooters
NSSF has launched two videos for Spanish-speaking audiences featuring Top Shot All-Stars competitor, Olympian and firearms instructor Gabby Franco--a native of Venezuela. The videos—intended for beginner target shooters—are entitled "¿Qué Puede Esperar Cuando Va Al Polígono De Tiro?" or "What to Expect at the Shooting Range?" and "7 Normas Basicas De Seguridad" or "7 Basic Firearm Safety Rules." NSSF encourages firearm instructors, shooting range operators and individuals to share these videos with their Spanish-speaking students, visitors, family and friends.

Choosing the Best Concealed Carry Caliber
Probably the most hotly discussed topic in personal defense is the argument over what constitutes a proper concealed carry caliber.

Cody Firearms Museum: Cross-Dominance Shotgun
Ashley Hlebinsky, the Robert W. Woodruff Curator at the Cody Firearms Museum, shares aunique shotgun that was custom fit over 100 years ago to a shooter suffering from cross eye dominance. The Cody Firearms Museum, including its research library, is one of five major museums at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming.
