SUPPORT FOR 'ASSAULT WEAPONS' BAN AT RECORD LOW . . . A new Gallup poll shows that support for a ban on so-called “assault weapons” just hit a record low of 36 percent, with a clear majority (61 percent) of Americans opposing an outright ban. Yet Hillary Clinton continues to push for a return to the discredited Assault Weapons Ban of her husband’s presidency. NSSF's Larry Keane explains.

- NEMO Arms, developer of advanced weapon designs and technologies, has relocated to Nampa, Idaho, from Kalispell, Montana, and will expand operations and manufacturing to meet the needs of the company’s expanding market.
- Daniel Defense, manufacturer of firearms and accessories based in Black Creek, Georgia, will be expanding operations, creating 75 new jobs and investing $29.5 million into a new facility and equipment.
- At the NASGW 43rd Expo and Annual Meeting last week, Ruger received the NASGW Firearms Manufacturer of the Year Award and the company’s CEO, Michael Fifer, earned the Chairman’s Award. Additional awards were also presented.
- Federal Premium recently announced a significant milestone in conservation efforts: a total of 50 million shotgun shells sold in support of Pheasants Forever.
