Young Archer Tags Two Deer

Wisconsin hunter Jeff Kahlow sends us photos of his 11 year old son, Andrew, after a first ever opening day archery hunt.

“After one hour in the stand, he bagged 2 deer within three minutes of each other,” Kahlow said.  “I’m a big fan of mentored hunts. Starting children out early in life is so important!”

“For an 11 year old child sitting in a deer stand, it’s exciting enough to just see a deer. To actually shoot an arrow at a deer and have the aim be true is unbelievable. And to bag two deer, within three minutes from each other is really unbelievable.”

“We're very proud of our son, as any parent or sportsman should be. Long live the mentored hunts with your children. On with the hunt.”
