Wisconsin’s deer hunting heritage is strong, thanks to you!
The 2012 nine-day deer hunt has come to a close but the season can continue through the sharing of hunting stories. If each licensed hunter created one new memory at camp this year, there are over 633,000 stories to be shared with friends and family. This is what keeps our heritage alive and builds the anticipation for deer season 2013! Please share your story with a potential new hunter. Maybe they’ll join you in the hunt next year!
Before I sign off for the season, I wanted to share this video message of thanks from Gov. Walker and myself. Your respect for the natural resources and for fellow hunters is what makes deer hunting in Wisconsin so great. Thanks for continuing to be our partners in conservation.
