RMEF Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo Offers Savory Sensory Menu

MISSOULA, Mont.—From a smorgasbord of hunting and outdoor-related products and activities to more than $80,000 in raffles and prizes, live country music performances and cooking demonstrations, and the ability to nock an arrow and share $15,000 in prize winnings, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation’s 2016 Hunter & Outdoor Christmas Expo offers a sensory delight for all to experience. 

“We are excited to provide a wide range of sights, sounds, tastes and hands-on activities for everyone to enjoy,” said Steve Decker, RMEF vice president of Marketing. 

The expo runs December 1-10 upstairs in the South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center in conjunction with Cowboy Christmas during the 10 days of the National Finals Rodeo. Admission is free. 

What to hear:
 • Acoustic country music performances by Easton Corbin, Daryle Singletary, 
 Josh Thompson, Chuck Wicks, Mark Wills and others on Realtree Live Stage 

What to smell/taste:
 • Daily lunchtime cooking demonstrations on Realtree Live Stage with CanCooker 
 and Paige Duke—host of southern Fried Skinnyfied on RIDE TV 

What to do: 
 • $82,000 in RMEF raffles and prizes including a New Holland tractor, Yamaha Viking 
 Side-by-Side, Kimber and Weatherby firearms, Leupold Optics, Polaris Ranger 
 Side-by-Side and product from Warn, ALPS OutdoorZ, Mathews, Weston and much more

 • $15,000 in total prize money at the MTN OPS Shootout–Ultimate Archery Experience 

 • Three Amigos Super Steer Roping: “Sin City Fast Time Shoot Out” where participants
  compete for daily fastest time awards and random jackpots
