March County Deer Advisory Council meetings provide opportunity to help manage deer where you live

MADISON - County Deer Advisory
Councils<http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/hunt/cdac.html> will meet for the first
time in 2015 beginning March 16 to form preliminary antlerless deer harvest
quota and permit level recommendations for the 2015 deer season.

Each CDAC will help determine antlerless tag availability for the 2015 deer
hunting season through preliminary antlerless quota recommendations.
Antlerless quotas will be reviewed and adjusted annually.

Councils use a number of resources, including deer population data, harvest
data, public input and other information to help direct deer management in
their county.

The public is encouraged to attend their county's council meeting and
provide input. Those unable to attend can send feedback directly to CDAC
members in their
county<http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/hunt/documents/cdaccontact.pdf>. For contact
and meeting information, visit dnr.wi.gov and search keyword
"CDAC<http://dnr.wi.gov/topic/hunt/cdac.html>" or email
DNRCDACWebMail@Wisconsin.gov<mailto:DNRCDACWebMail@Wisconsin.gov>. An online
public comment period will begin in April.
