Farmland (Zone 2) harvest authorizations update
Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorizations now available; included with each deer license purchase.
Hello Deer Hunter,
We are sending you this email because our records indicate you purchased a Wisconsin deer hunting license before the Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorizations included with your license were available. Depending on the deer management unit, up to six Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorizations may be included with your deer license, but you must select the unit and land-type (public access or private). Refer to the 2019 Farmland (Zone 2) map to see how many harvest authorizations are issued for the deer management unit(s) you intend to hunt. If you have a gun deer license and an archer and/or crossbow license, you will be allowed to make two selections of harvest authorizations.
Here's how to make your Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorization selection from your online account. (Use the picture-guide tutorial to walk you through the 3 steps to obtain your free Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorizations):
- Go to GoWild.WI.gov and log into your Go Wild account. After you follow the prompts and verify all of your personal information is current, scroll down to the LICENSE heading.
- Click on BUY LICENSES. Under the PRODUCT CATALOG heading, the option to receive Farmland (Zone 2) antlerless harvest authorizations will appear. Click on the FARMLAND (ZONE 2) ANTLERLESS DEER HARVEST AUTHORIZATION link.
- Then select the county or counties (deer management unit) where you wish to use your Farmland (Zone 2) harvest authorizations, and whether it will be used on public or private land. You must complete check-out to properly obtain your Farmland (Zone 2) harvest authorizations. And then remember to PRINT YOUR FARMLAND (ZONE 2) HARVEST AUTHORIZATIONS SO YOU HAVE THE NUMBER HANDY WHEN YOU REPORT YOUR HARVEST.
If you cannot access your online account, you may visit a local DNR Service Center to obtain your harvest authorizations at no cost or visit a license agent which will require a $2 processing fee.
