Deer Hunt 2016: What you need to know before heading into the woods
A number of helpful tools will ensure you're up to speed with some new changes.The nine day gun deer hunt, a true staple in Wisconsin’s cultural framework, is almost here! First off, thank you for purchasing a license to deer hunt in Wisconsin – your contribution goes a long way in ensuring quality hunting opportunities now, and into the future. Please note that when you register your deer, you will begin the registration process by providing the carcass tag number not your customer ID as in the past. Please check your carcass tags for a tag number. If one does not exist on your tag, please reprint the tag. If you have questions, please contact the WDNR Call Center at 888-936-7463. Please have this carcass tag number handy when registering your deer. The carcass tag number is located near the top of your carcass tag as shown in the image found below. We encourage you to utilize the many resources available to ensure to another great hunt. Once again, thank you for your continued investment in Wisconsin’s outdoors.
