Check out this quick message from DNR Chief Warden Todd Schaller as we gear up for another 9-day deer season!

Good Morning,

The Department of Natural Resources Conservation Warden Service wishes hunters, their friends and families a successful, safe and fun gun-deer season. We are aware there may be questions about the rule changes this season. Wardens are happy to help you with any question about these changes and encourage hunters to visit the DNR website to learn more.

Wardens also want you to know that we value our relationships with the public in protecting Wisconsin’s tremendous natural resources. We ask you to let us know if you see a possible violation against our resources. To do that, you may call or text your information, anonymously, to 1-800-TIP-WDNR or 1-800-847-9367. Enjoy this great Wisconsin annual tradition and stay safe!

Safe Hunting,

Chief Todd Schaller

DNR Chief Conservation Warden
