With just under a month before opening day, the best time of year in Wisconsin is almost here! Start putting your hunting plans into action during the bonus antlerless harvest authorization sale beginning Monday, Aug. 17 at 10 a.m.
Harvest Authorization Purchasing Made Easy
- Review the list of units with bonus antlerless harvest authorizations available for purchase.
- Check the dates and times to know when your zone’s bonus harvest authorizations go on sale.
- Log in to Go Wild on the day of your zone's sale to make your purchase or visit an authorized license vendor.
- Log in as early as 9:45 a.m. on the day of the sale to enter an online queue.
- DNR Customer Service Representatives are also available to assist you by phone from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily at 1-888-936-7463.
- DNR customer service centers, including counter sales, remain temporarily closed.
If you purchase online, follow the prompts to reach your dashboard. Click “Buy Licenses” and then select “Bonus Antlerless Harvest Authorization” at the top of the list. If you haven’t already purchased your license, you can do so on the website after you select your bonus antlerless harvest authorization.
The first three days of bonus sales are management zone-specific.
- Aug. 17, 10 a.m. - Northern and Central Forest (Zone 1)
- Aug. 18, 10 a.m. - Central Farmland (Zone 2)
- Aug. 19, 10 a.m. - Southern Farmland (Zone 2)
- Aug. 20, 10 a.m. - Remaining bonus harvest authorizations for all zones
Bonus authorizations are sold at a rate of one per person per day until sold out or until the 2020 deer hunting season ends. The cost is $12 each for Wisconsin residents, $20 each for non-residents and $5 each for youth ages 11 and under.
Bonus antlerless harvest authorizations are available for purchase in all but three deer management units (DMUs) for the 2020 season. The three DMUs without bonus harvest authorizations available are Forest County and the Forest Management Zone portions of Marinette and Oconto counties.
