ALL-TERRAIN WHEELCHAIR RE-OPENS THE OUTDOORS TO DISABLED VETERAN

The Beale Foundation will be presenting Army soldier and decorated veteran Cody Becker with a custom-made all-terrain power wheelchair. Unlike regular wheelchairs, that are mainly used on flat surfaces, all-terrain wheelchairs give users the freedom and mobility to do the things they love again like hunting and fishing. The presentation of the chair will be followed by a full day of activities allowing Cody to enjoy the outdoors with independence as he tests his aim and navigates through the rugged countryside on an afternoon pheasant hunt. The donation and events will take place at Magnolia Game Farm, 15007 W. County Road A, Evansville, WI 53536.

Cody Becker, 32, of Salem, Wisconsin is a lifelong outdoorsman.  He is a paraplegic due to a motor vehicle accident that occurred while on active duty during his service in 2008.  The devastating accident has limited his ability to independently hunt and fish however, it has not weakened his love for the outdoors. The all-terrain power wheelchair will change his life, allowing him to access his large property and the outdoors in ways that he hasn’t been able to do since his injury.

We would like for you to attend this event and cover the life changing day for Army veteran Cody Becker.

The presentation will take place:

Sunday, March 21 st, 2021

Magnolia Game Farm

15007 W. County Road A, Evansville, WI 53536
