Oshkosh woman tags 125lb. sow
Bear Guide Mike Foss had several hunters return to try to make his camp of more than 20 tag holders 100 percent successful. Last Friday shortly after 6:00 p.m., Shaune Augsburger from Oshkosh did her part in making that happen when she tagged a 125lb Sow.
“She logged in over 40 hours on stand before she got her opportunity,” Foss writes to On Wisconsin Outdoors. “She was the only female hunter at Northern Wisconsin Outfitters this year. I tell you, she has more patience than any hunter I know. 19 bears so far, couple more to go.”
