Mike Foss Bear Blog 7/4/14

Besides the huge wind storm on Monday it was wonderful to be in the woods these past few days.  Those pesky bugs have not slowed down any.  Tuesday we set four more stands, my arms and hands are now covered with battle worn cuts and scratch's.   Time is going by fast, only 2 months till bear season.

Lets talk about the little guys, most of the focus on here has been on big bears, but what about the smaller bears, there's plenty of them and for the hunter that has these young ones coming in to a bait station the entertainment can be fun, time passes by watching them and they also can be your best friend, they will definitely let you know when a bigger bear or other bears are approaching.

These two young bears are siblings, great entertainment, they will play, fight and tolerate one another when at a bait station.

Smaller bears are always on high alert, they will definitely let you know when danger is approaching.
