Almost a repeat of last week; set more stands. Didn't take long with some bait stations as I have multiple bears now showing up for a free meal.
There is so much standing water it’s unbelievable. A huge rain storm on the weekend washed out roads everywhere. Along with the Mosquitoes and Ticks the Horse flies are added to the mix now.
Traveled and scouted county land to preset stands. It’s exciting seeing some of these huge bears on trail camera. Beaver ponds that were dry last year are full of water and life so far this year. I love setting stands near beaver ponds using the water and wind directions for the hunter’s advantage.
September will be here soon!

A big old seasoned mature Boar. This isn't his first rodeo at this bait station. Maybe this is the year one lucky hunter gets this trophy.
